Kenneth W. Linkous

Kenneth W. Linkous, 85, of Salem passed away on October 27, 2024 at his residence.

A native of Virginia he was the husband of the late Barbara J. Linkous and the son of Shelborn W. Linkous and Ruth Ratcliff Linkous, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his son, Scott Estes; daughter, Carol Linkous; and sister, Margaret. Kenneth served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid Virginia Tech fan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Kenneth Linkous, Jr. (Becky) and Greg Estes; four daughters, Robyn Dawson (John), Lisa Estep, Tracy Estes (Darren Pettus), and Christy Mills; grandson, Wesley Estes; sixteen additional grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

At Kenneth’s request no services will be held.
