Kenneth Wade Pigg

Mr. Kenneth Wade Pigg, age 77, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Northern Regional Hospital in Mt. Airy. He was born on September 10, 1947 in Surry County to the late, Bert Pigg and the late Ermie Niten Marshall. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will surely be missed by all who knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dorothy Bowman Pigg; children, Amy Pigg (Roger Thompson), Karen Barbara (Larry Marshall), Sandy Montgomery (Hoss); five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Trina Sechrist and Judy Woods; brother, Jerry Marshall. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Faye Pigg; sister, Laverne Keith. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with services conducted by Rev. Anthony Thomas. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the funeral home.
