Larry E. Stewart

Larry Edward Stewart, 72, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

He is survived by his wife Lynn Stewart, sons Derrick Stewart and Charlie Stewart (Kelly), daughters Debbie Sherrill (Chris), Sallie Hodges (Ricky Spradlin), Maggie Roberts (Jim), Jacki Lemon (Lance ) and grandchildren Kelsey Norris (Benji), Savannah Stewart-Gabryluk (Aaron), Noah Stewart, Lizbeth Sherrill, Noah Sherrill (Raegan), Masen Sherrill, Colt Stewart, Charlie Anne Stewart and Jolynn Roberts.

Stewart (as he preferred to be called) proudly served our country in the Armed Forces and continued to protect our citizens serving with local law enforcement. He was a loving husband and father. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his loving wife Lynn, his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his family.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Fellowship Community Church - 1226 Red Lane Extension, Salem, VA.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home 3912 Electric Road.  540-632-4200
