Larry John Cuddy

Larry John Cuddy, 69, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and best friend, Kathryn Copper Cuddy.

Larry is survived by his son, Joshua Cuddy (Alysha); his mother, Betty; his brother, Steve Cuddy; his sisters, Lori Barker and Sharon Barbour; and other loving family members.

Larry had a passion for drag racing and was known for his motto, "Mopar or no car!" A devoted Redskins fan, he brought joy to those around him with his quick wit and infectious laughter that could light up any room. Above all else, Larry cherished the love he shared with his wife Kathy, holding her close in his heart throughout his life.

A chapel service will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home, located at 5160 Peters Creek Rd., Roanoke, VA 24019. Pastor Troy Mays will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.

Larry’s memory will forever bring warmth and laughter to those who knew him. May he rest in peace alongside his beloved Kathy.
