Larry Roscoe Smith

Larry Roscoe Smith, 76, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 11, 2026. He was born in Ridgeway on May 9, 1950, to Moses Roscoe Smith and Melva Lee Wright Smith, both deceased.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Ruby Morton, Mildred Kendrick; and brothers, Eugene Smith and Otha Smith.

Larry attended Drewry Mason High School and worked diligently until his retirement. He was content with being outdoors and particularly enjoyed gardening and woodworking. Above all, he loved his family and had a special bond with his grandchildren.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his sons, Marty Rhodes and Larry Rhodes; sister, Hazel Willis; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude for the care and concern expressed during their time of grief.
