Laura Lee Guill Earles

Laura Lee Guill Earles, 35, of Sutherlin, VA passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was born on February 17, 1988 in Danville, VA to Kenneth Wayne Guill and Janice Jones Guill.

She was an honor graduate of Dan River High School and earned a degree in Office Administration from National College. She was currently employed by Lowes of Danville in the paint department. She was of the primitive Baptist faith and attended Afton Road Primitive Baptist Church. Laura had a great sense of humor and made people laugh. She loved music, people, animals, flowers, and board games.

Laura leaves behind a brother, Kevin Guill; a sister, Alicia Estabrook (Jim), and her beloved dog, Daisy. She was also loved by her extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as a niece and three nephews. In addition, Laura is survived by her special friend, Dwayne Fitzgerald and step-children, Justin and Katlyn Earles.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents; Walter and Bertha Jones and Aubrey and Maggie Guill.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 2:00pm at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA with Elder Dan Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Burial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 6-7:30pm at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, Danville, VA. At other times the family will be receiving friends at the residence.

In addition to flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to either the Pittsylvania County Pet Center, 11880 US-29, Chatham, VA 24531 or to the Laurel Grove Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 2081 Laurel Grove Road, Sutherlin, VA 24594.
