Lawrence "Larry" Clifford Linkous

Lawrence “Larry” Clifford Linkous, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, January 13, 2025. He was born November 14, 1953, in Harrisonburg, Virginia to the late Clifford Linkous and Gracie Elizabeth Calhoun.Larry was of the Christian faith and an active member of Covenant Community Church. He worked hard and took pride in his work as a self-employed truck driver for many years. He was a 1972 graduate of Franklin County High School. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, watching and waiting for that “big buck”. Larry loved his dog and companion, Jack. He was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.He is survived by his, sister, Jean Angell (Bobby); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday January 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with JT Clark, officiating.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
