Leonard Samuel Hubbard

Leonard Samuel Hubbard, 96, of Troutville passed away Thursday, December 12, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Divers Hubbard, great grandson, Ross Evan Hubbard, and great great grandson, Heaven Lane Hubbard.

Mr. Hubbard was an avid gardener and lifelong farmer.

Surviving are his children, Gerald Hubbard (Carol), Glenn Hubbard (Susan), Marlene Bryant (Mark), Ray Hubbard (Lorraine), Barbara Bryant (Jimmy); seventeen grandchildren, fifty –five great grandchildren; and twenty –one great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Fincastle Fire Department.

Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Peters Creek Old German Baptist Church 7645 Woodhaven Road Roanoke, VA 24019 by Elders Everett Wray and Glenn Landes. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery Vinton, VA. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
