Lewis Glenndale Giles, 34, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at his residence. He was born June 26, 1989, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, to Glynis Pettie Giles Millner and the late Lewis Henry Giles Jr.In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Jacqueline C. Pettie; and maternal grandparents, William Pettie and Roosvell Millner.He was a graduate of Martinsville High school.Lewis is survived by his mother; his wife, Tammara Giles; sons, Lewis Giles Jr. and Nicorius Giles; sisters, Tonya Hairston, Stephanie Giles, Victoria Giles, Mellisa English (Ernie), Tyroshia Watkins, and Tracy Millner; brothers, Eric Pettie (Sidney), Anthony Giles, Travis Pettie Sr.(Dominique), Chris Giles, and Brad Hairston; step mother, Lillie Bell Giles; uncle, Randolph Thomas; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Mary Perry; grandmother, Deana Hairston.The funeral will be Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 12:00 PM, at Peaceful Zion Baptist Church, 8860 A.L. Philpott Highway, Martinsville, with visitation 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park, 18960 A.L. Philpott Highway, Spencer, Virginia.
