Liana Renee Sechrist

Miss Liana Renee Sechrist, age 41 of Cana passed away on Thursday morning, September 5, 2024, at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax. Miss Sechrist was born on May 8, 1983, in Forsyth County to Gary and Kimberly Felts Sechrist. Liana was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Surviving is her husband, Jason Len Haynes; son Dustin Haynes; her parents, Gary and Kimberly Felts Sechrist; brothers and sister-in-law, Bradley Sechrist and Stephaine, Patrick Sechrist and Tammy; niece, Bella Sechrist-Koreman; nephew, Brayson Sechrist-Koreman; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mrs. Sechrist was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Betty Lou Howell; and her paternal grandparents, Alma and Grady Sechrist. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Refuge City Church in Mount Airy with Pastor Bobby Bullins, Pastor Andrew Bullins, and Reverend Roger Sechrist officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Cana, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at Refuge City Church from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy has been entrusted with the arrangements.
