Lillian Boyd Laprade

Lillian Boyd LaPrade, age 94, of Collinsville, Virginia passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

Lillian was born on July 13, 1931 in Floyd County, VA. She was the daughter of the late Charles M. Boyd and Lilly Mae Dehart Boyd. Along with her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Irvin "Fuzz" LaPrade as well as her siblings; Emory Boyd, Grover Boyd, Viva Boyd Burnette, Eva Boyd Pendleton, Beulah Boyd Epperly, Vera Boyd Thomas, Oliver Boyd, Davis Boyd and Edna Boyd Seay. She was retired from Dupont with 30 years of service and a member of Victory Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Jerry Dean LaPrade and wife Cindy, a daughter, Kimberly Dawn LaPrade Foster, grandchildren, Hannah LaPrade, Sarah LaPrade, Grayson Lemons and a great-grandchild, Riley Lemons.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Drive, Bassett, VA, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 PM with Reverend Lee Ashley and Rev. J. Haywood Alcorn officiating. Entombment will be held at Roselawn Burial Park following the service.
