Ms. Lillian Jane "T-Heart" Humphreys, age 81, of Covington, died Thursday, March 28, 2024, at LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany, Low Moor, VA.
Ms. Humphreys was born October 17, 1942 in Covington, the daughter of the late Howard Young Humphreys and Patti Rock Humphreys. A resident of this area since 1942, she was a homemaker. Ms. Humphreys was a longtime and active member of Edgemont Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Most of all, Jane enjoyed spending time with her family.
Ms. Humphreys is survived by three nephews, William Milton "Tony" Humphreys Jr. of Newport News, Terry Alan Humphreys (Lorrie) of Covington, Robert Edward McFadden of Covington; four great nieces and nephews, Benton McCormick (Allison) of Covington, Danielle Walker (Josh)of Enterprise, AL, Samantha McCormick of Covington, Amber Seith (Mark) of Roanoke; eight great -great nieces and nephews; her sister-in-law, Allie Bradley Humphreys; and lifelong friend, Bonnie Gragg.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Humphreys was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Humphreys and William Milton Humphreys.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Monday, April 1, 2024 from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with Rev. James MacDougall officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Organ Cave, WV.
Pallbearers will be Terry Alan Humphreys, William Milton Humphreys Jr., Robert Edward McFadden and Benton McCormick.
The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 2:30 P.M. until time of service at Loving Funeral Home.
