Lillie "Dean" Toney Shell

Lillie “Dean” Toney Shell, 89, of Roanoke formerly of Franklin County passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024. She was a daughter of the late James Walter toney and Annie May Blankenship Toney. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George Adrin Shell; sons, James Delong, Jr. and Lewis “Sparky” A. Shell; sisters, Reba Scott, Vera Tyree, Loretta Cundiff, Mattie Holland, Mozelle Brown and Zelma Callahan; brothers, Denis, James and Bill Toney.

Surviving are her children, Richard Shell, Sr. and wife, Christina, Linda Vining, Rodney Shell and Lynn Trent; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
