Lillie Mae Wade

Lillie Mae Wade, 80, of Martinsville, Virginia, transitioned into eternal rest on Saturday, September 9, 2023. She was born March 23, 1943, in Axton, Virginia, to the late Lloyd A. Wade and Martha Hairston Wade.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Shellabra Wade Moorman; sons, Donelle Wade and Barry Tinsley; and grandchild, Kimberly Wade.Lillie was a member of Shaw Christian Church in Eden, North Carolina.She is survived by her daughter, Delabra Hodge; son, Kimball Wade; brother, Tony Wade (Alice), four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.The funeral will be Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Merinda Easley officiating. Burial will follow at Hairston/ Little Cemetery, 126 Norman Lane Axton, VA 24054. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to service. A floating visitation will be held Friday, September 15, 2023, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.Wright Funeral Service and Crematory is serving the family.
