Linda Elizabeth Cowan

Linda Elizabeth Cowan, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025. She was born October 11, 1953, in Havre-De-Grace, Maryland, to the late Louis Dexter Cowan and Willie Kate Lambert Valencourt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Poole; sons, Jason Lee and Jessie Poole.

Linda loved her grandchildren and “Little Bit” her dog. Linda had a love for the beach and lived there until her later years when she moved closer to the mountains.

She is survived by her son, Chris Gerhart (Jennifer); sister, Rose Williams; brothers, Ronnie Cowan (Sherry) and Kenny Cowan (Sherry); special nephew and niece, Brandon and Cherylnn; and several grandchildren.

All services will be private.
