Linda Faye Porter

As we mourn the loss of Linda Faye Porter, we also rejoice in knowing she now has heard those words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.” Linda Faye was born on December 1st, 1959, and heard those wonderful words of our Lord on May 18th, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Gladys Porter, her brothers Edgar C. Porter, Michael G. Porter, and William D. Porter, and sisters-in-law Carol Porter and Diana Porter. 

Linda leaves behind to remember her caregiving soul, Thomas W. Porter, James Porter (Angie), Elizabeth Powers (Jason), Christopher Clark (Kelly), Hannah Jackter (Joseph), Noah Jackter, and Olivia Jackter as well as many other close family members and friends.

Linda served for several years as an officer of The Salvation Army. While here on Earth she carried the role of caregiver for her parents and siblings showing us all a true caregiver’s heart. To continue her legacy of caregiving she gave the gift of life to many others with organs and tissue donation.

The family will hold a small private service at a later date.
