Linda Gail Wray

Linda Richards Wray, 79, wife of James T. Wray, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Virginia and was the daughter of the late William Ervin and Cora Marie Willis Richards.

Linda was a member of Hope Bible Church and worked as a security guard at the Roanoke Airport.

She will be missed and remembered by her husband of 60 years; son, James T. Wray, Jr.; daughter, Donna Waddell; grandson, Zach Wray & wife Bridget; granddaughter, Tyler Waddell; great-grandchildren, Luke Wray and Leia Wray; sister, Jackie Bradock; brother, Wayne Richards; brother-in-law, Billy Price; sister-in-law, Shirley Light and husband Melvin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in the Chapel of Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, with Pastor Don Eschelman officiating. Interment will be private.
