Linda Phyllis Kessinger Kreitzer

Linda Phyllis Kessinger Kreitzer, 79, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026. She was born on March 22, 1947, to the late Caroll and Lois Kessinger.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Kessinger.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 55 years, James Fredrick Kreitzer; her daughter, Lisa Harden (Jim); her granddaughters, Rochelle Spencer, Rachel Spencer, Paige Harden, and Amanda Harden; her great-grandson, Broly Eubanks; along with other loving family members and friends.

Linda worked for many years at Winn-Dixie, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. She was a daughter whose love and devotion to her parents never wavered, a faithful wife of 55 years, a caring mother, and a cherished grandmother. Family was the center of Linda's life, and she found her greatest happiness in caring for those she loved. Her gentle heart, unwavering support, and selfless nature will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home with interment to follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
