Lisa Marie Foster

Lisa Marie Foster, 53, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Billy and Sharon Foster.

Lisa was a happy woman in spite of her situation and was always concerned about others. She was known to her family as “The Rodeo Queen” due to her intense love for the sport. She was never a rider but she attended every chance she had and watched the Rodeo on TV every day. It was her passion.

She will be missed and remembered by her loving family, Nicky Strock and his wife Geve, Harry Edgell and his wife Dendra, Macky Lee Brewer who was like a brother to her, an aunt, Linda Kay Hickson, as well as numerous cousins. *UPDATED* A Celebration of Lisa’s life will be held on September 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at Riverside Evangelical Methodist Church. 1920 Lucas St., Salem, VA 24153 Online condolences may be sent to www.simpsonfuneral.com
