Lloyd Allen Moore

Lloyd Allen Moore, Jr. born May 5th, 1971 in Radford, VA left this world peacefully for his eternal home on April 25th, 2025. He was the son of Ruth and Bobby Moore. Allen spent the last twenty one years with his best friend and life partner, April Fisher. Many memories were made, life lessons were taught, and improvising to build the perfect tree stand became a non-negotiable. As a husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he leaves behind the legacy of working hard and loving harder. Mother & Father: Ruth and Bobby Moore (both deceased) Wife: April Fisher Sister: Martha Howard (deceased) Son & Daughter-in-law: Derrick Moore (Jennifer Moore), Ethan Fisher (Kayla Fisher) Daughter & Son-in-law: Brittany Fisher, Paige Martin (Alex Martin) Grandchildren: Joshua “JT” Moore, Naomi Moore, Elias Fisher, Wyatt Fisher, Evermore Fisher Uncle: Dennie “Redeye” Moore, Jack Shepard Niece & Nephew: Brandy Palmer (Mike Palmer), Jonathan Howard (Emily Howard), Devin Howard Great Niece & Nephew: Kurry & Sage P, Jacob & Natalie H, Kevin H Friends: Richie M, Brian H, Shorty S, Robert B, Grady C, Gary L, and MANY more The man’s best friend: Tillie (kelpie dog) Allen had many passions: farming with April, long Sunday drives, hunting season, watching his kids grow up on the diamond, the Dallas Cowboys… win or lose…, and of course a good ole ice cream cone. Allen was known for his southern hospitality, ability to withstand any hardship, and the occasional “cutting a rug” from time to time. He has impacted so many people’s lives and will remain in all of our hearts. We will all keep our heads held high. Allen, you have left a lasting impression that no one can replace. Rest easy old man, we all love you. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held before the service from 5-7:00 PM.
