Lois Marie Blankenship

Lois Marie Blankenship, age 72 of Rocky Mount died Friday, August 7, 2026. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Gordon Brown and Edith Mae Holland Brown. Lois is survived by her husband, Glenn Danny Blankenship; siblings, Henry Michael Brown and Charlotte Lynne Kennett (Larry Kennett); daughters, Jennifer Marie Williams (Charlie) and Christy Renee Ramey (Winkey, deceased); grandchildren, Brittany (Demii), CJ, Justin (Tonilynne), Dustin (Kristen), Cody (Justtina) and Destiny (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Colton, Chandler, Hunter, Makenna, Alaina, Abigail, Madison and Rayelynn. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, 2026 with Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Her family will receive 6-8 p.m. Monday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
