Lois "Sue" Frazier Sayers

December 17, 1950 - April 26, 2025

Lois “Sue” Frazier Sayers, 74, of Ridgeway, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home, Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Sovah Health of Martinsville. She was born on December 17, 1950, in Hillsville, Virginia to the late Ara Vager Frazier and Virginia Louise Sizemore Frazier.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Sayers, Sr.; sister, Carolyn V. Lankford; maternal grandparents, Anna Sizemore and Nige Sizemore; and paternal grandparents, John and Maddie Frazier.

Lois was a devoted Pentecostal Minister whose life was centered around her deep love for the Lord. She was a faithful member of Wilson Street Pentecostal Holiness Church, Martinsville, Virginia, under the leadership of Pastor Jammie Redd, and she was also a devoted member of Restored Ministry, Bassett, Virginia, under the leadership of Pastor Joshua Patterson. Lois had a heart for ministry; she loved talking about the Lord, singing gospel songs, and praying for anyone and everyone who needed it. She was a loving and caring mother, known for her kindness and generosity, always willing to help anyone in need and never meeting a stranger. Lois was also a dedicated employee of Henry County Plywood, where she faithfully worked for more than twenty years before retiring. Her life was a testimony of compassion, service, and unwavering faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna K. Alley; son, Raymond Sayers, Jr., grandchildren, Anthony Aiken (Alaina) and Jainina Suarez (Brandon); and great-grandchildren, Vivian Aiken, Pierce Aiken, Jason Burks, Loralie Burks, and Annavay Sifford.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 6:30 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Jammie Redd and Pastor Joshua Patterson officiating. A visitation will be held one half hour prior to the service.
