Lourene Brown Herndon

Lourene Brown Herndon, 82, passed away on March 25, 2024, surrounded by her

loving family. She was born in Cecil County, Maryland on October 26, 1941, to the

late Margaret Caroline Clemens Brown and the late Joseph Janney Brown. She is

survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Mr. Harold Dwight Herndon. She was of

the Christian Faith, and was a loving Homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter; Cheryl Herndon of Danville,

VA; two sons; Joseph “J.J.” John Herndon (Angie) of Danville, VA, and Ronald Scott

Herndon (Christie) of Blairs, VA; and one grandchild, Ivy Herndon.

In addition to her parents, Lourene was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
