Lucienne Georgette Haga

LUCIENNE GEORGETTE HAGA, 99, of the Little Creek Community of Dublin, VA, passed away Friday, June 19, 2026 at Lewis Gale Medical Center.

She was born September 30, 1926 in France, the daughter of the late Paul & Georgette Poquet.

Lucienne was a stern lady and truly one of a kind. She loved to cook and it is said that everything she fixed was amazing.

She was raised in the Catholic church. She attended church at French’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Her passion was gardening. She cultivated an excellent vegetable garden and loved working with her flowers. She went to great lengths to maintain her gardens and to prevent the pests from destroying them. She had a special place in her heart for her feline companions.

Lucienne was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Aurola & Georgette Louise Diancourt Poquet, her husband, Andrew Garnet Haga and all of her siblings.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons & daughters-in-law, Paul & Dianna Haga and Jerry & Hilda Haga; her beloved grandchildren, Aarin Haga and Andrew Haga; her great-grandchildren, Charlotte Lingo, Josie Lingo and Lucie Lingo; her brother-in-law, Jim Brewer, Seven Hills, OH; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Brewer, Seven Hills, OH, Geneva Hurst, Wilston, FL, and Lois Haga and Mary Haga, both of Dublin, VA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per her wishes, there will not be a public service. She will be buried privately at the Appalachian Conference Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Lucienne’s honor to your local humane society. The local humane society is Pulaski Animal Control, 80 Dublin Park Rd., Dublin ,VA 24084.
