Lucille Self

Lucille Bray Self, 88, passed away on August 30, 2024, at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. She was born on April 2, 1936, to the late Ernest Milton Bray, Sr. and Bessie Martin Bray. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 60 years Eddie Lee Self; daughter Deborah Self; great-granddaughter, Spencer Grace Self; sister, Frances Moore; and brother, Ernest Bray.

Lucille is survived by sons Michael Lee Self (Michele) and Jimmy Wayne Self (Brenda); grandchildren, Jessica Whitlock (Stephen), Robert Self (Kim), Sarah Arnold, Brittany Ingram (Zach), and Brantley Self (Kelsea); great-grandchildren, Mason Ingram, Aubrey Ingram, Maddox Self, Easton Self, Grayson Arnold, Ryland Self, and Carson.

A Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Pastor Lee Ashley will be officiating the service. A burial will follow the service at Bray Family Cemetery.
