Lucy Elizabeth Trivett

Lucy Elizabeth Trivett, 97, of Roanoke passed away on December 29, 2024.

A native of Virginia she was the wife of the late Spencer A Trivett and the daughter of Sam and Mattie Dickenson, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her four brothers, Harold Dickenson, Robert Dickenson, James Dickenson, and William Dickenson. Lucy worked for Smartwear and later Layman. She was a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church. Lucy enjoyed gardening, landscaping, birdwatching, and observing wildlife.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, David A Trivett and wife Kay and James S. Trivett and wife Mary Ann; her grandchildren, Brian A Trivett, Jamie L. Renick and husband Brandon, Seth A. Trivett and beloved significant other Celeste Greenbaum, Abby Trivett, Nicole Trivett, Richard Lauzon, and Lisa Thomas; her great grandchildren, Spencer Trivett, Kinsley Trivett, Madison Renick, Camden Renick, Tommy Trivett, Jayden Trivett, Zac Lauzon, Allison Lauzon, Christy Lauzon, Heather Thomas, Casey Thomas, Morgan Thomas, and Caden Brickhouse; two sisters, Gloria Brewster and Shirley Beavers; and her brother, Sam Dickenson.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 10:00 until 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow in the chapel of Lotz Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Sherwood Memorial Park.
