Luther L. Redd, Jr., 36, of Collinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. He was born October 12, 1987, to Luther Lenwood Redd, Sr., and Edith Elizabeth Redd.Luther is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Polly Ann Gravely and William Gravely; and paternal grandparents, Edd Redd and Hattie ReddHe was a Bassett High School graduate, and a self-employed barber and landscaper. He loved music, being with his family, and loved joking around. He was the life of the party.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Aleesha Coverdale; daughters, Aubree Redd, and Laylah Redd; brother, Orlando Gravely (Semekia); nieces, Grace Gravely and Taylor Gravely; and a host of relatives.The funeral will be Sunday, March 24, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Tony Redd officiating. Burial will follow at Redd Cemetery at 1073 Mariah Drive, Fieldale, Virginia 24089. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.Wright Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
