Malcom "Bubba" Aaron Conley
MALCOM AARON CONLEY, 43, of Rocky Gap, VA, passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 at his home.
He was born January 16, 1981 in Bluefield, WV, the son of the late Steven Wayne Conley and Rhonda Elaine Stowers.
Malcom was a scary looking, big hearted, kind, teddy bear. When he loved you, he loved hard and forever. He would help anyone and made a point to help his neighbors and family.
He was a diesel mechanic and had recently worked for Kidd Trucking & Family.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed riding.
Malcom loved all children and especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. A big kid at heart, he loved to play, go swimming and loved to wrestle with his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven Wayne Conley and Rhonda Elaine Stowers, his grandparents, James Albert Conley, Leonard James (“Buddy”), Jr. & Geraldine Mahoney Stowers, a special great-grandmother, “Grandma Ruby” Stowers and a great-uncle, John D. Tolbert.
Left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Brandi Wood; his daughter, Zoey Wood; his brother & sister-in-law, David Wayne & Brittani Conley; his grandmother, Edna French Conley; his step-brothers, Steven Roy & Casie Conley and Patrick Wayne Conley; his step-mother, Cindy Conley; his nieces and nephews, Nathaniel Conley, Jackson Conley, Haley Conley, Destiny Conley, Tristan Conley, Abel (“Bubble”) Conley, Scilla Conley and Gunner Conley; his aunts & uncles, Judy Tolbert, Barry & Judy Conley, James (“Pete”) & Helen Conley, Joey & Hope Begley, Dorcas & Jeff Elledge, Becky & Wayne Baker, Dale & Tammy Stowers, Regina Newberry and Jennifer & Steve Johnson; and many special friends and extended family.
Per Malcom’s wishes, he will be cremated and a private celebration of his life is planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, his family suggests memorial donations be made in Malcom’s honor directly to A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home, 2508 Walkers Creek Valley Rd., Pearisburg, VA 24134, to help with funeral expenses.
