Margaret Ann Oakley Jamison

Margaret Ann Oakley Jamison, 85, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Franklin Health & Rehab. She was born on February 10, 1939, to the late William Ballard Oakley and Annie Stanley Oakley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Ray Cobler Jamison; son, Robert Lewis Jamison; sister, Billie Marie Martin; and brothers, Chester W. Oakley, Kyle S. Oakley, Carlton D. Oakley, and Thomas R. Oakley.

Margaret was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughters, Lynn Jamison Grindstaff (Andy) and Lisa Jamison Holcomb; son, David Ray Jamison (Carla); grandchildren, Blake Holcomb (Katie), Beth Holcomb Cummings (Lee), Kati Lynn Grindstaff, Kyle Berkley Grindstaff, Julia Carlene Jamison, and Josef David Jamison; and three great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Terry Young will be officiating. The burial will be at the Jamison Family Cemetery following the service.
