Margaret "Margie" Anne Sexton Bonds

Margaret “Margie” Anne Bonds, 73, of Roanoke passed away Friday, August 23, 2024. Margie was born July 20, 1951, in Roanoke, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward Sexton, Sr. and Anita Spardlin-Buzik and her siblings Tommy Sexton, Jr. and Judy Sites.

She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Arthur Bonds; daughter, Shawne Wright and wife, Jessi; grandson, Kilian Wright; sisters, Kitty Shell and Vicki Sexton; nephews, Leon Sexton, Mark Shell and wife Kathy, Todd Shell and wife April, Anderic Shell and partner Lisa; several great nieces and great nephews and her best friend, Pat Fralin.

Margie enjoyed horse, playing bingo and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 East Washington Avenue, Vinton. A memorial service celebrating Margie’s life will begin at 2:00 pm, following the visitation. Burial will be private.
