Margaret "Meg" G. Oliver

Margaret G. Oliver (Meg), age 78, of Blairs, Virginia, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026 after a decline in health for several years.

She was born September 24, 1947, in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Russell and Helen Schuke of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Meadows (Rodney) of Blairs, a son, Brandon Williams, also of Blairs, Virginia, and a grandson, Dustin Meadows (Rachel) of Ransomville, New York.

She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Todd Gravatte (Sally), Karen Thompasson (Bobby), Jeff Gravatte (Amber), Jason Gravatte, Diana Vierqutz (Brian), all from Louisville, Kentucky, Mark Shaw, Darina Shaw, both from Ransomville, New York, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews, and her beloved sister-in-law, Shelly Shaw of Ransomville, New York.

In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Joyce Gravatte.

Meg graduated from Barrington High School in Barrington, Illinois. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude with an accounting degree from DCC. She was a homemaker. She learned how to make quilts, and one of her favorite things was to embroider designs on the quilts. She also made fleece blankets for several special people in her life.

Per request of Meg, no funeral will be held. Please just say prayers for her family and friends.
