Marietta Lynne Meadows Conley

MARIETTA LYNNE CONLEY, 64, of Pearisburg, VA, passed peacefully to go on to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Highland Ridge Rehab. She was born December 19, 1959 in Pearisburg, VA, the daughter of the late A.C., Jr. & Etta Meadows.

Lynne was a member of Ingram Village United Methodist Church. She graduated from New River Community College with a degree in Drafting.  She worked at MOOG. She enjoyed shopping and traveling and loved spending time with her family. 

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Ambress Clarence, Jr. (“Junior”) & Etta Belle Wolfe Meadows, her son, Lee Conley, her children’s father, Jospeh Lee Conley and her brother, Jimmie Curtis Meadows. 

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Conley and his fiancée, Jana Franke; her sister-in-law, Bobbie Breedlove Meadows; her nephew, Jamie Meadows and his children Eva Meadows & Will Meadows; and special childhood friends who were considered her sisters, Donna Wimmer and Carol Sutphin. 

Per her wishes, Lynne has been cremated. A memorial service is planned for Friday, March 29, 2024 at 4:00 P.M. at Ingram Village United Methodist Church with Rev. Terri Johnson Gregory officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 P.M. until service time, 4:00 P.M. She will be privately laid to rest at Birchlawn Burial Park at a later date.
