Marjorie Jean All Wright

Marjorie Jean All Wright, “Sally,” of Blacksburg, VA went to be with her Lord on the morning of March 20 from her home she shared with her husband of a wonderful 65 years, Keith Wright. Sally was born on December 31, 1938 to the late Archie and Eva All of Catawba, VA. She had 12 siblings all of whom have preceded her in death except one brother, Reginald All of Catawaba, VA. Sally grew up in Catawba, VA and graduated from Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, VA. She and Keith married February 6, 1959. Together they loved the Lord, were faithful to church, and raised three beloved children, Jeffrey, Jennifer, and Jonathan in a Christian home. Sally retired from Virginia Tech where she worked in the 4-H Extension Office. She was known for her kindness and smile, and her co-workers became life-long friends. Sally was known for her love for her family and she blessed them regularly with her delicious cooking. Her grandkids and great-grandkids, whom she adored with all her heart, are all blessed with precious memories of getting to “eat at Mimi’s.” Sally is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Keith Wright; her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lynne Wright; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Steven Garman; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Wendy Wright. She is Mimi to her precious grandchildren, Brooke and husband Josh, Dustin and wife Ashley, Laura and husband Kyle, Austin and wife Marissa, Cody and wife Kasey, Vance and wife Diana, Jocelyn and husband Aaron, Vicky and husband Aaron, and 10 great-grandchildren – Beau, River, Oakley, Shiloh, Georgia, Hadden, Dawson, Gentry, Blair and Josie. All will miss her terribly and cannot wait to be reunited with her one day. There will be a visitation on Friday, March 22 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Gateway Baptist Church, Blacksburg, VA, with a memorial service immediately thereafter, followed by a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg, VA.
