Mark "Jed" Steven Deisher

Mark Steven “Jed” Deisher, 71, of Radford, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at home with his family by his side. Mark retired from Radford University with over 41 years of service as a grounds supervisor. He could often be found fishing the New River with his son and grandson, going on adventures with his granddaughters, and most recently taking care of Norman G. Lineburg field and attending the many sporting events of all his grandchildren.  Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Nancy Deisher; sister, Carolyn Sharp; and a brother-in-law, Bennie King.

Survivors include his wife, Adria Esteve Deisher; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Bryant Weaver; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Sarah Ruth Deisher; grandchildren Natia Bonds, Bryant Weaver II, and Emily Grace; great grandson, Lennox Bonds; brothers and sister-in-law, David and Martha Deisher, and John Deisher; sisters and brother-in-law, Diana Deisher, Pat and Randy Howell, and Katherine King; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Mullins Funeral home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Perry Slaughter officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Christiansburg.
