Marlin Wade Linkous

Marlin Wade Linkous, age 79, of Merrimac, died Friday, March 6, 2026. He was born in Merrimac, Virginia, on September 25, 1946, to the late John and Ida Mae Linkous. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Ray Linkous and Gary Linkous; a daughter, Becky Linkous; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Lovern Linkous; grandson, J.D. Linkous; son-in-law, Daniel Irwin; brother, Bernard Linkous; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Buford Linkous officiating.
