Martha Caldwell "Granny" Kelly

Martha Caldwell  "Granny" Kelly, 89, of New Castle went home to be with the Lord Monday, March 18, 2019.  She was preceded by her husband Carrol B. Kelly, and a great grandson, Chris Boyer.
Martha was a hard working woman who worked hard and struggled evertually retiring at age 72.
Surviving are her daughter, Kimberly Broughman and partner, Benton Atkinson; grandchildren, Kevin (Rosie) Broughman, Cynthia Ann (Chris) Broughman, Angie (Steve) Ferguson, James (Sabrina) Broughman; great grandchldren, Shanna (Craig) Looney, Megan (Devin) Broughman, Christopher Wilkinson, Katie Poole, John Boyer, Collin Broughman, James Broughman, Samuel Ferguson, and Dalen Axtell; fourteen great great grandchildren; brothers, David (Penny) Caldwell, Roger (Juanita) Caldwell, Bruce (Charlotte) Caldwell and sister Rosemary (Jiggs).
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Milton W. Johnson.  Interment will follow in Huffman Memorial Park, Craig County.  The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home.  366-0707
