Marvin Lee Edwards

Marvin Lee Edwards, 70, of Bassett, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024. He was born December 13, 1953, in Spencer, Virginia, to the late Russell Lee Edwards and Rubie Mae Waddell Lewis.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Pierce; brothers, Ronnie Edwards and Sammy Edwards.Marvin was a dedicated employee of Bassett Furniture for more than twenty years. His most treasured moments were those spent with his children and grandchildren doing activities with them. In his free time, you would find him hunting for just about anything. He loved to fish crappie on the lake and trout fishing on the Smith River bank. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.He is survived by his sons, Kevin Edwards (Kimberly), Daniel Edwards (Heather), and Ronnie “Junior” Edwards; sisters, Marie Martin, and Jane Harvey; brothers, Melvin Edwards; Grandchildren, Clayton Edwards, Coleman Edwards, Wyatt Edwards, Ava Reel, and Izzabella Reel.All services are private.
