Marvin "Monty" Miller Greenway

And Marvin “Monty” Miller Greenway, 71, of New Castle, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Alberta Greenway; and siblings, Pete Greenway, Tommy Greenway, and Linda Hutchinson.

Monty is survived by his sons, Andrew Greenway (Dana) and Jason Greenway (Kathy); grandchildren, Andrea and Jaden; siblings, Robert Greenway, Geneva Sarver (Russell), and Bertie Hill (Charles); and numerous nieces, nephews, close relatives, and friends.

He was a hard worker and loved the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was deeply loved by many. He loved telling stories, joking around, and he could always make you laugh.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00am at Paitsel Funeral Home, 286 Main Street, New Castle, VA 24127.
