Mary Elizabeth Delong Baird

Mary Elizabeth DeLong Baird, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margie Woods (Harry, Sr.); her father, William I. DeLong; husband, Richard Henry Baird; daughter, Lynn Marie Baird; brother, Terry DeLong; and her grandson, Jacob Henry Baird.
Surviving are her children, Sandra Bragg; Richard “Ricky” Baird (Terri); brother, Johnny DeLong (Peggy); sister, Peggy Palmer; grandchildren, Leigha Bragg (Michael Valez), Dustin Baird (Cassidy Barton) and Derek Baird; great-grandchildren, Emma, Justin, Bayleigh, Gabriella and Kyson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Lotz Funeral Home, 305 E. Washington Ave. Vinton with Reverend Vernon DeLong officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
