Mary Elizabeth Sebastian Branham

Mary Elizabeth Sebastian Branham, age 76 of Stuart, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection in Stuart. She was born in Wilkes County, North Carolina on January 9, 1950, to the late Wafford Handy, Sr. and Myra Sebastian Handy. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Branham was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Branham. Mary enjoyed gardening, her dogs, and working as a nurse. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, caring sister, aunt, and friend. Mrs. Branham is survived by a son, Tim Branham (Terry Reeves) of Stuart; five siblings, Gary Handy, Sr. of Windsor, North Carolina, Pat Merriman of Patrick Springs, Becky Cornett (Mike Cornett) of Patrick Springs, Wafford Handy, Jr. (Mary Handy) of Fieldale; and Eddie Handy (Debi Handy) of Chilhowie; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Mrs. Branham will be held Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in Patrick Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bud Sedwick officiating.
