Mary Green Pennell

Mary Green Pennell, 88, of Buffalo Junction, VA passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Avendelle Assisted Living in Garner, NC. She was born on August 10, 1936, in Franklin County, VA to the late Clytie Holt Green and Luther Green. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Winston Pennell, and her daughter, Ann Pennell.

She is survived by her children, Howard W. Pennell, Jr., and Robert G. Pennell and wife Trina; grandchildren, Trisha McCain and husband Donovan, Shannon Pennell and partner Paul, and Jacob W. Pennell and fiancé, Maria; great-grandchildren, Edmund Kester and Evelyn Kester.

The visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025. from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Norris Funeral Services. The burial will be held at Monte Vista Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Mary.
