Mary Kaye Hoskins Huecker
Mary Kaye Hoskins Hall Huecker of Sidney, Ohio. On the 50th Anniversary of her 29th year, entered into heaven on Friday, May 8th, 2026. She was born on November 6th, 1946 in Washington, D.C., the daughter of late Raymond Absolm Hoskins and Mary Eleanor Packer.
She is survived by two children, much to her dismay, Sandra Hall Isom of Danville, Virginia and M. Shane Hall (Mikelle N.) of Pelham, North Carolina who she recently tried to make precede her death (“I brought you into this world and I can take you out”); as well as her sister Pamela H. Boor of Dry Fork, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her brothers William Joseph Hoskins, David Grier Hoskins and Raymond “Kirnky” Absolm Hoskins Jr.; and grandson C. Morgan Hall.
She was married to Phillip William Huecker of Sidney, Ohio since July 25th 1981. Mary Kaye is survived by her 4 granddaughters, Kayleigh J. Hall, Mikayla S. Hall, Cheyanne A. Hall and Autumn M. Hall and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as various nieces and nephews. Mary Kaye was a wonderful mother, grandmother (belovedly known as “Moma Kaye”) and great-grandmother who loved to spend time with her family and playing games. Her family meant the world to her and she meant the world to her family.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00am at Christ Episcopal Church of Danville, 3245 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540. A visitation will be held on the same day, just prior to the service from 10-11:00am, also at Christ Episcopal Church of Danville.
