Mary Lou Price

Mary Lou Price, 80, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was born December 12, 1942, in Pilot Mountain, NC to the late Roy Owens and the late Alice Jessup Owens.

Mrs. Price was of the Christian faith. She will be remembered for her love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a great cook and enjoyed providing meals for her family. She enjoyed trips to the beach and riding with her son, Steven on his motorcycle.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Clayton Price; daughters, Tracy Merricks (John) and Kelly Jo Earle; sons, Robert Steven Price (Marsha) and Michael Clayton Price; grandchildren, Jamie Connor, Jodi Shumate, Jeni Merricks, Kaitlin Hyler, Brittany Shelton, and Matthew Carter; great-grandchildren, Kenzie Merricks, Drake Zaher, Lakely Shumate, Sailor Shumate, Navie Shumate, Cambri Merricks, Creed Ballard, Jace Luffman, Lucus Hyler, Kensley Hyler, and Josh Connor; and sisters, Rachel Scott, Shirley Booth, and Bobbie Gillespie.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Betty Guthrie and Lula George; and brothers, Curtis Owens, Junior Owens, Dewey Owens, and Joe Bill Owen.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, July 14, 2023 at Norris Funeral Services, Mt. Hermon Chapel, 3995 Franklin Turnpike, Danville, VA 24540.
