Mary Lynn Ortiz

Mary Lynn Ortiz, 80, of Bedford, died Saturday, April 29, 2023.  She was born in Roanoke on May 22, 1942, a daughter of the late Leonard Thomas Neff and Carrie Louise Turpin Neff.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant, Baby Ortiz; and her sister, Carolyn Haste. Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Luis Alberto Ortiz; five children, Vincent Ortiz (Jennifer), Margaret Ortiz Hauser (Jeff), Loretta M. Ortiz-Duncan (Wayne), Katherine Ortiz Ballard (Mike), and Victor Ortiz (Jennifer); brother-in-law, Carlos Enrique Ortiz; a special nephew, Joel Carrera; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 4, 2023 in Evergreen Cemetery, Roanoke with Rev.
