Mason Nichols

Robert Mason Nichols, 32, of Troutville passed away on February 14, 2025.

Mason enjoyed fishing, target shooting, camping, movies and music.

Mason was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne and Janie Nichols, maternal grandmother, Gretta Jane Richardson, Great aunt and uncle Wanda Reed and Wilbur Reed, Great uncle Robert “Bob” Vanhoy, dearest cousin and angel of God, Mary Hudson and Uncle David Radford.

Those left to cherish his memory, his father, Brian Nichols and fiancé Lisa Ratliff, his mother, Susan Floyd and husband Roger Floyd, maternal grandfather, Reggie Richardson, Sr., sister, Ashley Farmer, fiancé Kaysie Ranae Carter, siblings, Laura Wilson, Amber Hutchings, Megan Ratliff, Daniel and Keri Rutherford, uncles, William Poff, Timothy Poff, Reggie Richardson, Jr., aunt, Jeanette Lynch and husband, Jay Lynch, Barbara Lynch and family, cousin (Brother and Best Friend) Justin Draper as well as many more cherished cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family.

The family will receive friends at Lotz Funeral Home in Salem on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service will follow the visitation in the Chapel at 2 p. m.
