Michael David Hartberger

Michael David “Mike” Hartberger, of Blue Ridge, a devoted husband, Dad, Poppaw, brother and friend to many passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026. Mike was welcomed into Heaven by his Mama, Daddy, brother, Randy, Grandaddy & Granny Powers and others who have gone before him.

Mike loved the Lord, his family and friends with all his heart and he lived a life of faith working as an electrical contractor for over 5o years. He enjoyed farming, riding horses and team roping with his cowboy friends. He loved and enjoyed his Mama’s wonderful home cooked meals and those recipes helped his wife, Wanda continue to prepare the meals he enjoyed.

Mike is survived by his wife, Wanda; his sons, Matt (Olivia), Travis (Shanny); grandsons, Palmer, Nelson, Charlie, Jonathan, Jacobie and granddaughter, Gia; brother, Mark (Tammie) and extended family and friends who loved and were touched by Mike’s kindness and sweet spirit.

Mike's legacy of always keeping the faith, devotion to his family and for being a kind, honest man to everyone will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He will always be remembered for his calm strength, being faithful and committed to his Lord, his family and his friends.

Mike requested that a celebration of his life be held at a later date.
