Michael Harris Deweese, 65, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Michael retired from the City of Roanoke Parks and Recreation Department after 33 years and 3 months. Michael was preceded in death by his father, John Harris Deweese and his mother, Mary Ellen Agee Deweese.Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Janet Deweese; son, Zachary Deweese and his wife, Kimberly Deweese; two granddaughters, Lavonna and Everlyn Deweese; sister, Patricia Comer; brothers, Darrell Deweese and Mark Deweese and his wife, Angie Deweese; several nephews and nieces; sister-in-law, Tammy Huffman; brother-in-law, Adam Griffin and his wife, Jenny; father-in-law, Melvin Huffman and a special friend, Deborah Chisom.Online condolences may be made at www.lotzfuneralhomeroanoke.com
