Michael James May, 85, of Thaxton, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Tuesday, August 20, 1940, a son of the late Kenneth May & Anne Maranna May.
Michael was a Nuclear Engineer and a Master Gardener.
Surviving is his wife, Susan May; son, John May & daughter, Tracy Jennings.
Per Michael’s wishes there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
