Michael "Scotty" Scott Gray

Michael “Scotty” Scott Gray, 53, of Danville, Virginia, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was born April 10, 1971, in Danville, Virginia to Betty Weddle Gray and the late Everett Hunt Gray.Scotty was a dedicated employee of Riverside Roof and Truss for more than ten years, where he worked as a Truck Driver; working in trucking for more than twenty years. He was a 1989 graduate of Tunstall High School and kept in very close touch with many of his friends. Scotty had a love for college football; especially the Miami Hurricanes and anytime they played he made it a top priority to watch the game. He had a love for animals, and we are sure that five acres full of animals await him in heaven. His contagious and overflowing personality will never be forgotten. His most treasured moments were those spent with his family and friends; he will forever be loved and missed greatly. Scotty fought a good fight, he finished his course, He kept the faith.In addition to his mother, Scotty is survived by his loving wife of twenty-eight years, Lissa Ann Campbell Gray; one daughter, Alexis Gray; and one son, Barrett Gray.The Visitation will be Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
