Mildred Marie Hague
Mildred Marie Scearce Hague, age 96, of Danville, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 3, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Hague was born on December 26, 1929, to the late Carrie Bell Scearce and Grady Scearce.
Mildred spent most of her life in Danville where she was a Homemaker as well as a babysitter. She was a devoted Christian and was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Everyone that met her loved her. She was encouraging, thankful, prayerful, generous, faithful, and loved her family.
Mrs. Hague is survived by her daughter, Yvonne Hess (Lloyd); granddaughter, Brianna Cassada (Beau); and great-grandchildren, Corbin Cassada and Juna Cassada.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her spouse of 50 years, Neville Hague; sisters, Aleese Barts, Charlene Wann, Margie Warren, and Barbara Crumpton; and brothers, Grady Scearce, Lawrence Scearce, Harold Scearce, and Tom Scearce.
A big thanks to Karen Thomas, Barbara Wray and all her caregivers; and to Medi-Health Hospice and their employees.
Her Lord and savior ushered her home on August 3rd. Now with a new body and totally restored for eternity with her savior.
A private graveside service for Mrs. Hague will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Danville Memorial Gardens.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Danville, Virginia, in Mrs. Hague’s memory.
